BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE

Keith Massa joined Frito-Lay, Inc. in 1984 as a summer intern at the Arlington, Texas Plant. Following college graduation in the fall of that year, he accepted a full-time role as a Manufacturing Supervisor at the Arlington Plant. Keith now has 38 years of Food Manufacturing Experience, all with PepsiCo Foods North America (Frito-Lay Inc.). He spent 22 years in Field positions at 5 different Manufacturing locations with roles in both Plant Operations as well as Plant Engineering. The last 16 years have been spent in various Management positions at the Frito-Lay Headquarters location in Plano, Texas. Currently, Keith's Environmental Compliance team supports the company in developing and reviewing plans, permits, and procedures for air quality, hazardous waste, spill prevention, stormwater, and wastewater to mitigate risk and ensure full compliance to Federal, State, and Local requirements. This also includes leading the resolution of any compliance outages, if encountered. Also, as a member of the PFNA Sustainability Organization, Keith and his team support the development of strategies and execution of programs to deliver productivity and meet company goals in environmental compliance, greenhouse gas reduction, water usage, waste-to-landfill, recycling, and many other areas. EDUCATION

Keith received his Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics/Agribusiness from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas in 1984. In 1985, he attended LSU and received his FDA certified canning certificate. Keith has completed numerous technical as well as management training classes and programs throughout the years.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Keith grew up in Parker, Texas and graduated from Plano High School in 1980. While in high school, he was active in the Future Farmers of America, serving in roles as Chapter President, District and Area Vice President. He also received his Lone Star Farmers Degree. In his free time, Keith enjoys raising horses and cattle with his wife, Caroline, on their ranch in Whitesboro, Texas, and spending time with his grandson.
