To help protect Lake Austin's shoreline from erosion, provide a seed bank of native plants within the reservoir, and provide habitat for aquatic critters, our staff and Lewisville Aquatic Ecosystem Research Facility (LAERF) Ias Unt biologists recently planted native, submerged aquatic vegetation in front of eroding banks.
