We are excited to host the 3rd Annual Geography, Anthropology, Biology Activities Forum (GABRAF) this Monday May 16, 2016! The conference will take place at EESAT in ENV 125 from 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. All proceeds will go to Clear Creek Natural Heritage Center (donations welcome, cash preferred).
Complimentary coffee, hot tea and iced water will be available (please bring your own mug/bottle). We will have a 1.5 hr lunch break from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. which allows ample time to dine at one of the many establishments on and around campus.
GABRAF was designed in the summer 2013 to provide students with the opportunity to share their current research with others in related fields. Its purpose it to provide a venue for students to organize their research, get feedback on ideas and to network with fellow scholars. Because the audience is broad, spanning those who study physical, natural, and social sciences, it is an excellent opportunity to learn about new scholarship.
Attached is the GABRAF 2016 Program (we will have printed booklets at the conference). As you can see, we have great representation from all Departments here at UNT as well as other universities and organizations.
We look forward to seeing you Monday and appreciate your participation.
Best,
The GABRAF Organizing Committee
