With an eye toward ensuring the world's natural resources are sustained for the future, UNT researchers are creating solutions to combat climate change, biodiversity concerns and air pollution.
On April 25, 2022 at 4pm in the UNT Union Lyceum, Dr. Thompson will be presenting an engaging lecture entitled, " Without Change, Nothing Changes: The role of science education research in effecting calculated change.” This event is in-person only. A reception will be held in Union room 406 immediately following the lecture and Q & A.
Great Conversations is a unique live event benefiting the Honors College at the University of North Texas. This engaging program brings together individuals of accomplishment and skill to facilitate conversations on important, diverse, and stimulating topics, ranging from the intellectual to the lighthearted. The event is being held in the Apogee VIP Clubroom Tuesday, February 22, 2022, from 6:00-9:00pm. This year two professors from the UNT Department of Biological Sciences will be featured as guests at the event: Dr. Ione Hunt von Herbing Dr. James Kennedy
